Vancouver Royal Tours adheres to the following cancellation regulations as a tour operator: if the departure date is more than 45 days away from the date of reservation, a full refund will be provided. For cancellations made between 44 days and 30 days prior to the departure date, a 50% penalty will be applied. Between 29 days and 8 days prior to the departure date, a 75% penalty will be applied. Cancellations made within 7 days of departure or on the day of departure will incur a 100% cancellation fee. (Card fees are non-refundable.) Requests for changes to the departure date are allowed only if there is more than one month remaining before the departure date, regardless of the payment date. Please note that change availability is not guaranteed. For reservations involving third-party travel providers such as airlines, cruises, and vacation packages (e.g., Sunwing), date changes, reissuance, and cancellation penalties will be determined by the regulations of the respective airline or service provider, not Vancouver Royal Tours' refund policy. If a package tour includes travel services from third-party sellers such as airlines, cruise lines, trains, hotels, and the like, the policies of those providers will apply, and customers are solely responsible for all associated costs and fees. Vancouver Royal Tours does not assume responsibility for the cancellation or modification policies of airlines or package tour providers. Vancouver Royal Tours is not responsible for cancellations or changes due to personal negligence, illness, injury, disease, death, loss, theft, or airline-related issues (delays, cancellations, or overbooking). Additionally, events such as weather conditions, wildfires, heavy snowfall, natural disasters, or force majeure events will not be considered reasons for cancellation or date changes. Review the full cancellation policy, which applies even if you cancel for illness or disruptions caused by COVID-19. Vancouver Royal Tours disclaims any liability for such situations.
